Christmas Trees (real trees) for local Goats.
It was one of the strangest statements anyone had ever said to me, but earlier today I was informed that ‘Goats eat Christmas trees.’ And sure enough I then went on to watch a video of such.
I got this information at Warrenview Manor Sheltered Housing complex here in Muff this Friday lunchtime. And I even watched as the two resident goats there tucked in happily to a Christmas Tree. Pip and Daisy clearly enjoyed.
The management at Warrenview Manor have asked that anyone wanting to dispose of their ‘Real Christmas Tree’ can leave it in the grounds (green areas) at Warrenview Manor and they will transfer it then to the garden where the goats reside.
It’s not only recyling, it’s feeding the local goats. Pip and Daisy will certainly appreciate.
