Wind Turbine

The final three pieces of the wind turbine are going to be taken through Moville today on their way to Kinnegoe Bay.

Around two hundred people, amongst them maybe a couple of dozen protesters, turned out last week to see the trial run when the truck was practising getting around the corner and into the Malin Road.

They’ve taken out a few lamp posts and done a dummy run and now they are all prepared to go sometime today.

The bollards are now in place outside Gillen’s shop and Annie’s Bar to prevent people from parking there.

This is the big day.

It’s a good day for it.
