Moville Footbridge

Martin Farren managed to get a €143,000 worth of funds to build a new footbridge over the River Bredagh.

The footpath had been very narrow at that point.

There was a danger to the hundreds of Moville Community College pupils as they had to file one at a time along the footpath and adjacent to the oncoming traffic.

Official Opening

It’s complete now and the official opening is this Friday (27th March) at 2pm.

Martin Farren will open it.

Then everyone will go to Glencrow Hall where food and tea and coffee will have been prepared.

This footbridge makes Moville safer for schoolkids going to school and all Moville residents who use that pathway.

If you are free on Friday go along and see it being opened – and have some food and the craic afterwards at Glencrow Hall.
