It’s not everyday that one of the local citizen’s reaches a milestone in life! But that’s exactly what local man Joe O’Donnell has reached today. Joe turns 70 today. Now if that’s not a milestone, I just don’t know what is.
On Friday night his family and friends had a delightful celebration for him in the local…….The Squealing Pig. And what a night it was. Young and old danced and laughed into the wee hours. One of the youngest there was Joe himself. It certainly proves that age is indeed just a number!
Joe is married to Rosemary and they have a family of 9. If you don’t know Joe, Rosemary or one of their nine children, then you really can’t call yourself a true Muffin!!!
Joe is well known for his singing talent and he entertains in The Squealing Pig every Thursday night. His band ‘Milk Thistle’ has grown in popularity over the years and has a regular following on a weekly basis.
So Joe, from all in the village and indeed further afield here’s wishing you a great and memorable 70th birthday, and here’s to the next 70! Happy birthday Joe!
