The world craze that is swarming social media at present raising millions for charity, The Ice Bucket challenge, came to The Squealing Pig tonight in Muff. Fair play to all the bar staff and local G man for undertaking the challenge. It certainly was a cold, freezing wet one. And as for ice, there was loads of it!
The locals were donating their money to the local branch of The Red Cross to help finance the defibrillator that’s in the village. It is also going towards the establishment of a Community First Response here in Muff.
The bar staff and G man all took a rather chilly soaking tonight and it certainly is for a great cause.
The folks in The Pig now nominate’The staff at Spar, Muff’ to undertake the next Ice Bucket Challenge in the village and help raise more funds for The Red Cross defibrillator and the Community First Response. Good luck folks It will be wet and it will be cold!
