August 2nd is Paul McCartney Day in Minnesota
I woke up to find it is Paul McCartney Day in Minnesota. Our Governor, Mark Dayton, has declared it! I only know two friends who snared tickets for the show that sold out in 20 minutes tonight. Steve and his wife Gwen are on the field. I spent a year in college with Steve in a London exchange program. He was an avid photographer. Maybe Steve will post some snaps on Facebook of Sir Paul’s OUT THERE tour.

I can’t help thinking amongst all the hoopla today in Minnesota surrounding the OUT THERE tour if Sir Paul McCartney wouldn’t rather be with his childhood friend Tony Bramwell in Moville during Beatlesfest. Maybe have a few musicians sit in on some sets, a few pints, and of course the craic during high summer in Donegal.
