Local band The Plea scoop big record contract

They have been one of the most popular bands in Moville and district for quite a while now. They used to play regularly as a five-piece band regularly down at the Hair of the Dog. More recently they have been playing every 4th Saturday night at Rosato's as a duo. The brothers Denis and Dermott always draw a crowd.

They are especially popular for their Bob Dylan songs and do a rousing version of Like a Rolling Stone. They play a lot in the distrcit and play music full time. There music is always up tempo and they have great voices.

It is not before time that they have been discovered. It seems that a recent trip to London has resulted in a record contract being signed with a record company in Indiana, USA.

I hope they are still able to play in Rosato's every 4th Saturday.
