The craic in Moville over Christmas

Boom Room

Moville's only disco is back but only for two nights.

The Boom Room used to be a thriving place where the youngsters of the town (and some not so young) used to go and boogie, usually after the pubs were shut.

The Boom Room was where the Sports Bar now is at the back of the Foyle Hotel

The Town Clock's late licence had a major affect on it especially as they didn't charge their customers to get in like the Boom room did.

Short Opening

However, it will only be for two nights.

It will be open on Boxing Day evening and again on New Years Eve.

I would expect that it would draw a good crowd if only for old time's sake.

Perhaps if they do well they will open it more often.

After all it's not always possible to get into the Town Clock on a Saturday night once it is full up.
