Moville's DylanFest

News seems to be spreading fast about the Moville DylanFest.

A Moville man was stopped in Belfast on the street and asked "You're from Moville. What's this about a DylanFest up there?"

Another Moville man living and working in Belfast said he had been asked a few times about it.

We were also told that at a table quiz in Dungannon one of the questions asked was "Where is Ireland's first DylanFest to be held?"

Accommodation

The only thing that would hold back the DylanFest would be the amount of accommodation in Moville. There is still some left but there is a week to go.

Many people living in the town are bringing friends up for the Festival.

Many of those who are from the town are coming back up for the Festival - and bringing others with them.

Big Event

It's very clear that Michael Gray's one man show on the Saturday afternoon is going to a major attraction at the DylanFest.

Many of those playing in the bands performing at the DylanFest are saying that they don't want gigs while he is performing as they want to see him themselves.

The story of his coming to the DylanFest was also highlighted in today's Derry Journal.

New Book

He has a new book coming out the day after the DylanFest ends. It's called In Search Of Blind Willie McTell, which Dylan fans will understand.

He is bringing over just 6 advance copies for sale so if anyone wants them they'd be best to contact us beforehand.
