Castle Inn, Greencastle

The Castle Inn re-opened on the 4th of July to a massive opening night party.

It must have cost new lessors Stephen McClay and Vicky Smith a fortune.

just as well they were flushed from the DylanFest weekend.

I didn't manage to make it in the end but here is what someone who did said about it:-

Brilliant Opening

"The opening went brilliantly. There was no BBQ because of the weather but there was plenty of free Champagne, White and Red wine and even a huge container full of Ice and bottles of beer to make up for that.

"There were also cocktail sausages, shrimp and other appetisers!

Music

"The Inch Ramblers played from about 9/9.30 until 12am and were asked to play on by Vicky.

They then played on for an extra half hour I presume, (I had left when they were just re-starting).

"All in all it went very well and was a very enjoyable night".
