Moville's Fairground
The Shock Wave was very popular at Fair Green opposite the River Row during the Moville Festival.
There were 20 seats on it costing €3 Euors a go and very often all 20 seats werre taken.
The town's youngsters enjoyed being hurled all over the place.
Bumper Cars
There were Bumper cars as well (my children correct me when I call them dodgems) and a bouncy Castle and Slide - but nobe was as popular as the Shock Wave.
It's a shame that next year there might not be any room for it if the Sewage Treatment Pump and Storm Overflow Tank as well as a 5.5 metre tall building and car park are going to be standing where the fairground stood.
But this year it was great fun for all the kids and teenagers.
