April Fool
We've had a few people congratulating us on our spoof article yesterday.
In it we had a Seamus Murphy on the verge of buying two pubs in Moville for the sex leisure industry and he was going to turn Moville into a Pottersville (reference Frank Kapra's 'It's A Wonderful Life'.
He was signing up Moville girls and had already got six of the best.
Fooled
If you were fooled by it let's just make a few things clear.
Seamus Murphy isn't snapping up pubs in Moville for the sex industry.
He's not buying empty shops as 'entertainment centres'.
Non-Existent
In fact, there's no Seamus Murphy at all.
Most people managed to work this out.
Emails
We got one email early on "This article on the sex industry is an April Fools Joke. Right! Good One."
Another said "April Fools? Think you should get some reaction to that!!!!"
Any April Fools
So did anybody get caught buy it?
Yes, but I don't think it is fair to say who.
