Foyle Hotel
The Foyle, which is situated at the top right of the main square, has two very different bars. They have an upmarket restaurant and bar as you enter it from the main square and down the stairs at the back they have Moville's only Sports Bar.
The main bar has music at weekends. The Foyle is also a hotel and has a mixture of locals and hotel residents.
The Sportsbar downstairs has a very large screen and a large screen. There's always a good crowd any time there is any football on. A goodly number of Celtic supporters go there and Celtic games get shown a lot as well as the Premiership and other Champions League games.
See the Foyle also under Restaurants and Hotels.
As well as having a top restaurant they also have bar food for the Sportsbar.

Maguires
This pub is at the bottom of the main square in the town. It is very lively at the weekends and very popular with youngsters. They have a DJ on Saturday nights.

Rawdons
They say it is location, location, location for any business. This is one business that has shown that good management is even more important. Despite it being in possibly the worst location in town it is one of the most popular.
It is one of those pubs where you'll always get people in there during the week where they normally gather round the bar and have a bit of craic with the owner or manager.
They have a popular quiz every Wednesday night which is good during the year but has got up to 22 teams at the peak of the summer.
On Friday nights they have traditional Irish folk music with Paddy McLaughlin, arguably Moville's finest musician, and they are happy for volunteers to bring their instruments with them to join in and for anybody who wants to sing a song to come up.
Saturday night is hugely popular with Paddy, Sean and Tim playing a selection of pop and rock classics with Bob Dylan songs particularly popular. Again guest singers and guitar players are welcome. I one brought my keyboards up there and played along with Paddy and Tim. They, along with Sean, are very accomplished musicians and can play along with whatever you play.
It is one of my favourite pubs.

Rosatos
Rosatos is found on the Malin Road. It has a striking, red exterior. It is one of those quaint olde worlde looking pubs. It's one of my favourites.
They have Texas Holdem Poker on a Wednesday which is very popular. There's usually about fifteen people playing there. They also have the occasional bonanza quiz for local charities.
The weekends are very popular with music on a Saturday and sometimes a Friday too. They have good quality music and it is well frequented.
Town Clock
This pub really comes into its own on a Friday and Saturday night. It is the only pub in the town with a late music licence and it is teeming with people late on on a Friday and especially a Saturday night. There is a resident DJ and the music is belted out.
It is the closest thing that Moville has to a singles bar. Don't come too late on a Saturday night or the bouncers won't let you in.

The Waterfront
The Waterfront bar & Restaurant is delightfully situated overlooking Lough Foyle.
It is an upmarket bar having been renovated just a couple of years ago.
It has both bands and disco music.
Caiseal Mara
The Caiseal Mara only re-opened in May 2008 after extensive (and expensive) renovations.
It has a lovely new bar where you can get very good bar food.
