Barrons
They do great all day breakfasts here. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and my 8-year-old son Robbie is always badgering me to take him there for breakfast. The prices are very reasonable and they will do children size dishes at lower prices for most meals. They have a good selection of meals throughout the day.
It is to be found on the right hand side of the Lower Main Street as you come in from the Derry Road.
It is a good old-fashioned good feed.
The staff and management are very friendly and welcoming. The exterior may be a pit offputting as you look as if you are walking into someone's front room but do go in and you'll be well fed and well looked after.
Cosy Cottage
The Cosy Cottage is situated just past the top of the main square. It does a good selection of cafe food including the traditional Irish breakfast with junior breakfasts for the kids.
Very bright and cheerful with plenty of light coming in, it is very popular in the summer when many of their customers sit outside and eat.
A great place to go in for a cup of coffee.
Seamy's
Seamy's is a popular chip shop in James Street just off the town's main square. It also has eat in facilities a few stairs up. Good Fish and Chips.
The Point
The Point is a very busy chip shop situated right in the centre of the town on the main square. It also has sit down facilities. Has quite an extensive menu for a Fish 'n Chip shop.
