Will Moville lose a bank?

Banks

I read in my newspaper today that Ireland's main banks are close to announcing thousands of redundancies.

It seems that the only reason that they haven't announced these savage cuts is that they were waiting to see what would happen with the bailout.

Well, it seems that the banks are about to be shrunk further as a result of having to take extra money in the bailout.

This means that they will have to add many more to the numbers of redundancies that they are making.

Closing Branches

They may end up closing down some of their branches.

AIB is one of the main banks that are going to be chopping thousands of its staff.

Let's hope that it leaves Moville alone and we get the same level of service as before - and that the bank stays open.
