Bad Forecast
The forecast had been predicting a pretty good spell of weather - and we got a fair bit of that last week.
How annoyed must those who were working or back at school to see the great midweek weather dissipate into wet, overcast weather for the weekend.
How often does it happen that there is good weather during the week and then it goes away for the weekend when everyone is off?
How often, also, does the weather start to get good the day the children go back to school in late August or early September?
Wet Weather
The immediate forecast is very bad.
The whole of this week is to have wet weather.
Next Sunday is the only exception to the bad weather till the end of next week - and expect that to change.
I can't see them being able to predict a one-day break in bad weather a week in advance.
Tend to Change
There is supposed to be a good spell of weather at the back end of next week - but far off forecasts like that tend to change.
The only hope is that the forecast will change back for the better again.
We've seen how often it can change from a good forecast to a bad forecast.
Change Back
Let's hope it changes tack again.
It would be nice to have a good September to go into the winter with.
