Bredagh River
Everyone knows the Bridge over the River Bredagh athe bottom of the town.
But is it falling down?
I noticed after the ice and snow had cleared away that the bridge has become separated from the road.
Over River
The section that is separated is directly over the River Bredagh on the River Row side of the road.
It's only a few inches but it certainly wasn't like that before.
There was no way that the road was built to be a few inches away from the bridge.
Coming Away
So, either the road is crumbling or the bridge is coming away from it.
If it was the road that was crumbling over time it would not looks so uniform a break.
Falling Down, Falling Down
Also, the bridge is now titled towards the river as well so it looks as if it is the bridge that has moved.
So, it looks as if Bredagh Bridge is falling down.
That would be a calamity!
