2010 Moville Festival Events
26-28 Feb - Traditional Music Festival
There will be traditional music all weekend long in four pubs, Caiseal Mara, Bar-A-Cuda, Rosatos and Rawdons.
The Caiseal Mara is the designated hotel.
1-4 Jul - DylanFest (of Bob Dylan music)
This is the 4th running of Ireland's only annual DylanFest. It will take place in multiple pubs in the town, in the grounds of the hostel at Gulladuff House, on the shore of Lough Foyle by the Putting Green and, if the pubs want it, in the streets too.
There are other DylanFests in California, Detroit, upstate New York, Berlin, Manchester and Italy but the Moville one is the only one that is multi-venue and both inside and outside and is, arguably, the biggest.
We already have 14 top Dylan acts that want to play from six different countries.

12-15 Aug - BeatlesFest (with Tribute bands)
After two less successful years the BeatlesFest finally made it as a long term festival in Moville with the success of the BeatlesFest in mid-August after it got a good date in the calendar for the first time.
The highlight was the performance of the Sick and Indigent Song Club in Rosatos on the Saturday night which a good few people said was the Gig of the Year in Moville.
This year we will have two tribute bands and maybe even the Sick and Indigent Song Club again - although they have gone to greater heights since then with the success of their new CD Punch Drunk, their appearance for 5 weeks on the RTE1 Playlist of the Week for 5 weeks on a row, and their new residency every Thursday night at one of Dublin's major pubs The Mercantile.
The BeatlesFest will also be multi-venue and will take place both indoors and outdoors.
Note:- If anyone else wants their festivals added here then just get in touch.
