A rumour spread last night that Susan Boyle, the Scottish '47 and never been kissed' singer who sprung to fame in Britain's Got Talent, was in Rosatos on Sunday night.

She had been in Malin at the weekend and was in Donegal for a couple of days.

She has sung at Mass before in Buncrana.

The rumour spread on Facebook so fast that there were 90 Likes and 45 Comments within 45 minutes.

Walkers

Several people came down and walked up and down outside Rosatos to get a glimpse.

Quite a few others phoned.

A car full of local journalists turned up outside to get a story and a few pictures.

It was said on Facebook that she was seen kissing 'Scotch Gerry' (whoever that is) in Rosatos.

It all turned out to be a hoax - which is good news for Scotch Gerry, whoever he is.
