Buoy Planters
I looked out across Lough Foyle from my back garden earlier this week and saw what I thought looked like an oil drilling platform.
It was in the water some way out round about the level of the Upper Pier.
I saw it the next day closer to where I live.
No Oil
They couldn't have discovered oil in the Foyle could they, without CraicOn or the local newspapers hearing about it?
On asking about I heard that it was a device for anchoring buoys to the bottom of the lough bed.
Over the weekend it has been anchored at the pier and has caused more than a little interest.
