Spring Tides
I often count the crowd in Rosatos to see how many are there to see a particluar musical group.
However, I didn't when Spring Tides were playing last night in Rosatos.
I didn't want to lose my seat at the bar.
Good Crowd
I'm not sure if it beat the crowd on their first night three weeks ago when there 67 there but it must have come close.
It was a helped a little because I'm told the band that was supposed to play the Town Clock didn't turn up.
But the main reason there was a crowd is that the young guys are getting very good - better and better each week.
Festivals
I was talking to them afterwards about playing the DylanFest and Maybe the BeatlesFest and they would be a good addition to both of those festivals.
It might even be an idea if they took over their own bit of the festival, e.g. in the open air gig down at Gulladuff House or the gig at the Putting Green Cafe.
Other suggestions would be to play during the day at pubs like Rawdons or the Bar-a-Cuda.
That would be good.
It's all taking shape to be a great BeatlesFest and a great DylanFest this year.
