Sick and Indigent Song Club
Angie McLaughlin, whose father comes form Moville, and who has two sisters and a brother in the town, took he band, the Sick and Indigent Song Club, up from Dublin to play the BeatlesFest in Moville.
For 5 years they had played regularly every Monday night at the Hapenny Bridge Inn in Dublin.
In fact it was the only pub in Dublin that was crowded on a Monday.
Rosatos
At the BeatlesFest they played the Town Clock on the Friday night and they played to a packed Rosatos on the Saturday night.
Quite a few people said that it was the Gig of the Year in Moville.
Now they've taken up a new residency in Dublin.
Mercantile
It is at one of Dublin's major venues, the Mercantile.
It is huge pub. I was there when I was down in Dublin recently for the Paul McCartney concert at the O2.
I was there with Angie the night before the concert when they were having a Paul McCartney night there.
Not only are they playing at a much bigger venue but they will be playing every Thursday night rather than every Monday night.
It is a huge break for them.
Punch Drunk
They recently brought out a highly acclaimed CD called Punch Drunk which is for sale in McFeeley's, Gillens and the Farm Shop.
It was voted the CD of the Year by Dublin's Metro newspaper.
Angie's song I Wanna Whistle like my Sister Kate was on the RTE Playlist for 5 solid weeks - which is highly unusual for a new Irish band.
It could be the year of the Sick and Indigent Song Club.
