Weather

They say that once the schoolchildren go back to school the weather improves.

Not this year!

Moville Rowing Club always have their Open Day in September inviting people from other Rowing Clubs up for it.

They always get good weather for it.

Not this year!

My father told me that the farmers always said that there was always a good spell of weather in Spetember when they bring in the harvest.

Not this year!

Long Time

It seems quite a long time since we had a long hot summer.

There used to be quite a few of them.

They would come along every few years.

Sometimes there were two or three on the trot.

One doesn't know what God we have displeased.

Perhaps it's global warming.

Global Warming

It has been said that Ireland would get warmer - but wetter with global warming.

How could it get any wetter?

It should actually be not too bad this week from Wednesday to Friday.

But then it's back to the rain again.

Let's hope it's not another cold winter like last year.
