Rosatos Changes
The builders have been in at Rosatos.
They started on Monday and are expected to finish on Tuesday.
The idea is to create more space.
More Space
If you go in there on a Saturday night you know it is a tight squeeze when you need to go to the toilet.
Basically they are moving the bar backwards a bit to make more room for the customers.
There may be a new table or there may not in the top half of the bar.
It depends on how it looks when it is finished.
Remains Open
There may just be two extra bar stools.
Rosatos will remain open during the renovation.
Regulars will see the changes by the weekend.
Photos
I might take a few photos when it is finished to let people know what is happening.
How is that newsworthy you may ask.
I think the answer is that CraicOn.com is not really a news site.
It is more about the minutiae of Moville - the craic that is happening here.
The Craic
That's what people who are from Moville but live abroad tell me that they like.
They can get their news form other sites.
If there was a murder in Moville we probably wouldn't report it.
Flavour of Moville
But Movillians who contact us from abroad say that CraicOn gives them the flavour of Moville.
We report on things like the far wall in the Green falling down and renovations at pubs or restaurants in Moville, or what the food was like when I go out with my family to Moville restaurants.
Webcam
I'm told that CraicOn is read regularly in Australia amongst the Moville community there.
Perhaps at some stage in the future we'll put a webcam on so that Moville people abroad can follow the craic in Moville at the weekend.
So. look forward to our 'scoop' on the changes in Rosatos this week.
