Print Wars

It looks as if Movillians will be able to get cheaper printing soon.

A lot of the printing that is used for Festivals etc. gets done out of town in Buncrana or Derry, so it could be no bad thing not only for those that want printing done at reasonable prices but also those who do the printing.

Posters

Posters have appeared about the town from CGI which offers a thousand full colour Business Cards for €119.

After that cards were handed out about town, with a poster in Gillen's window, offering full colour Business Cards for €99.

Now, the new Print and Design shop, which is opening soon (on the site of the of Boyce's Paint Shop) say that their price for this service will be €95 for a thousand business cards.

Not Bad

This price war is not necessarily bad for those in the businesses in the town.

If the price of printing comes down they may find they have a lot more business.

Buncrana and Derry

I used Frimur Print in Buncrana for both the DylanFest and BeatlesFest after they were recommended to me.

I know that other Festivals and Events get theirs done in places like CityPrint in Derry.

More Business

It would be a lot handier if we could all get our posters and programmes printed in Moville.

If the prices are competitive with prices outside the town, they might find that they start to get a lot more business.
