Rosatos has a new location for bands playing there on a Saturday night.

The bands used to play up at the top of Rosatos between the kitchen door and the door out to the toilets.

All Change

A couple weeks ago the walls shielding the stairs going up to the flat upstairs (to the left of you just as you come in the door).

It seems that those walls only went up 10 years ago and so the bar is back looking like it used to look.

That has given Rosatos extra seating and space and there is less congestion when the bands play on a Saturday night.

Damian Sheridan

Damian Sheridan was the first to play there last Saturday night.

However, more space was needed for a threesome and there had to be some clearing of space and removal of tables before they could start.

Everyone Hears

It was always the case, because of the acoustics, that the people down at the bottom of bar to the right as you come in couldn't hear the bands in the past, and heard only a dull base sound if anything at all.

Now with the new position everyone can hear - and it makes a big difference.

Great Set

Damian Sheridan played well last week and the three guys Matt, James and Paul played great and got a very good reception from the Rosatos Audience.

Even after they had finished and packed up they stayed behind and played some more acoustically whilst having a pint.

It was one of the most enjoyable evenings for a long time in Rosatos.

Name Time

It's only fairly recently that the threesome got together but surely it is time they got a name.

It makes the headlines too big if I have to put all their names every time.

Suggestion

I would suggest that they take the first two letters of each of their names and put then together.

That would make Pajama (Pa(ul), Ja(mes), and Ma(tt)).

There, that's put that one to bed.
