Christmas Tree

I looked at the Programme of Events the other day that Moville Events put together for the year and which had all the music festivals, regattas etc.

The 10K race took place a couple of weeks ago.

What would be next?

It was a bit of a surprise to see that the next big event in Moville is the Turning On of the Christmas Lights.

That was a bit depressing.

Good Spell

Here we are in the middle of a late summer with good sunny weather being predicted for the next two weeks and there's nothing going to be on till the Christmas Lights get switched on.

There is Halloween to come of course but that just happens.

It's not an event in itself.

It's a shame that the event and festival year ends so suddenly.

I don't feel as if I'm ready for the Christmas Tree Light Switch On yet.
