The venue for the crucial agm of the Moville Summer Festival will now take place in St. Eugene's Hall at 9pm on Tuesday rather than Rosatos.

This is the second attempt to get the Summer Festival Committee off and running after not enough people turned up at the last one to rowm a quorum and elect new committe members.

The festival runs for 6 days with all sorts of different events and needs quite a few people to run them.

As Cecilia Keaveney says they need a lot of people to do a small amount each rather than leaving it to a few people to do everything.

The Summer Festival took over from the Sea Angling Festival, one of Ireland's oldest festivals of its type and in the past few years it has gone from strength to strength.

It would be a shame to see it disappear from the calendar.
