Moville Sports and Fun Day

It's great to see the Sports and Fun Day in Moville. It kicks off at 2pm on Sunday August 19th.

Here's what's on:-

All Can Play

There seems to be something for everyone there.

My best days as a 5-a-side footballer are probably over but I'm sure I could take part in the perfect pass or perfect shot.

Horse Shoes and Nappies

The horse shoe throwing competition looks interesting although perhaps the farmers might have an edge as there may be some technique involved.

I wonder what the Nappy Hanging competition is. Shouldn't they have a fair trial first?

Miss Moville

So there's going to be a Mr and Miss Moville Competition. How brief was the reign of the Jennifer Harris the Moville Festival Queen.

There looks to be already a replacement lined up. Maybe Jennifer will go in for it and try to keep her crown.

Eating Time

Teas and sandwiches looks interesting. Is it a competition to see who can make tea and sandwiches quickest or who can make the most?

I don't expect so but if it was I don't think I'd fancy eating or drinking any of the results.

As I said at the beginning, it's great to see it and I hope it gets a crowd.
