Moville Shore Walkers warned

Warning

There's not much one can say about this except to show the photograph.

One wonders what caused this warning to be put up in the first place.

Was a complaint made?

Were they forced to put this up by the garda after an incident?

Which?

One wonders also, which was the biter and which was the farter.

It gives a new meaning to the cockney rhyming slang 'going for a pony (and trap)'.

It's probably just as well that the pony and donkey, which are shown in the background can't read.

They might be embarassed or even insulted.

They're probably wondering why people used to feed them grass and now no one seems interested.

I did think that perhaps I needed to get closer to them to get a good picture - but then again....

One hopes that the problem which caused this sign to be put up is now solved.

Understand

I can understand why the biting warning might have gone up.

They could be sued if the pony bit someone.

They could certainly get into trouble.

However, why did they feel the needed to warn people about the farting?

Do people sue for that over that here?
