Lighthouse Festival

The Moville Lighthouse Festival turned out to be a major success at the weekend.

All through the weekend events had been well attended.

The disappointment was The Courtyard in Back Lane where the crowds didn't turn out to pay €7 to see a Kings of Leon tribute band and a Rory Gallagher tribute band.

Massive Crowd

However, the organiser were quick on ther feet and transferred the Thin Lizzy tribute band to the main square as a free concert and that made a huge difference.

There was a massive crowd to see them.

Some people were saying this weekend was just like the old days of the Sea Angling Festival.

Successful

A lot of hard work (as well as some great ideas) went unto organising the festival and it has paid dividends in spades for them.

it was a very, very successful and enjoyable festival.

Congratulations to all those who put all the work in to make it that way.
