Ciara McDaid

Ciara McDaid from Moville started a campaign to get the telephone line in Moville upgraded.

Eircom were advertising and selling an internet package that they couldn't deliver in terms of processing speed.

Ciara started up a Facebook page and campaign to embarass Eircom (and maybe frighten them a little).

Autumn

She contacted the local press who ran the story and they also contacted Eircom asking them what they were going to do it.

They got back and said they would upgrade it in the autumn.

They've been as good as their word and they've started the work, they told Ciara.

Success

They expect to finish it in January.

Meanwhile Ciara will be keeping a wary eye on them to make sure they do.

It shows you what success you can have if you are determined enough.

It should speed up internet access considerably.
