Moville Houses for Sale

Whilst researching Daft.ie's house price index I cam across this which shows some Moville houses and land for sale.

It's a good indicator of current house prices although this is the asking price and I'm sure some of them may go for less than that as the market continues to fall.

I read Leo MacAuley in the Derry Journal recently saying that he was selling a lot of houses at the lower end of the market but only two (if I remember correctly) for over €200,000 in the last 5 months of last year.

It seems that the starter end of the market for properties under €100,000 is going well but the higher the price the more it is a struggle to sell it.

House prices fell by 12% last year which is less than the 22% of the year before so some are calling the bottom of the market.

However, a lot of the Budget cuts are yet to take effect fully and unemployment is likely to rise too.
