Snow
There have been several falls of both snow and hailstones in Moville this evening.
In fact it is coming down as I write.
There are several fresh snowfalls predicted during the night and also tomorrow.
Snow Days
So far none of the schools are off.
They will have been hoping that there will not be any more days lost to the weather.
The kids are desperately hoping for another Snow Day.
Winter
I explained to my son that any days off now are taken off the summer holidays.
He says he doesn't care.
He wants the day off now.
White Moville
Moville could be looking quite white again by the morning.
One hopes the Council will be quicker into action with the sand this time.
Last time we had cars tobogganing down Lower Main Street in Moville and into the wall at the bottom of the road by the River Row.
Sandbags
I see that when they removed the sand the other day they left it nearby in bags.
I don't know if his is because they will come back and lay it again or they have left it there for locals to use.
So, the snow is back.
And Christmas is just next week.
White Christmas anyone?
