Summer Festival

Although the Moville Summer Festival doesn't appear to be on except for a couple of bands on the Sunday there is still a lot going on this weekend.

This is the big weekend of the year for hard pressed Moville businesses.

We'll build this up as we find more information.

Every Day

Cooley Pitch & Putt 11am - 7pm.
Putting Green Cafe and Crazy Golf (Bath Green) - 11am - 7pm.

Friday

10:30pm - Rosatos - Matt Whoriskey and friend
10:30pm - Maguires - DJ

Saturday

12 Noon - Dingy Racing and Kayak Racing
2pm - Rowing Races
2pm - Kayak Come Try It (free)
2:30pm - Cruiser Races

10:30pm - Rosatos - Paddy McLaughlin
10:30pm - Maguires - DJ
12:30pm - Caiseal Mara - Spirit of Freedom - €8 admission

Sunday

12 Noon - Come Try It Canoes & Kayaks
2pm - Dromheim and Cruiser Races
3-4pm - Canoe Rescue
4pm - Raft Race at the pier
5-7pm - Market Square - Lee Roy Brown band
6-9pm - Open Boat Trips €30 - call 087 220 2577

9-11pm - Market Square - Gale Force 10
9:30pm - Bar-a-Cuda - Riding the Bucking Bronco Night
10:30pm - Rosatos - Barbecue with the music by Damian Sheridan
10:30pm - Corner Bar - Francis Faulkner

12:30pm - Caiseal Mara - DJ Kevin K

Monday

12-2pm - Canoe Polo
2pm - Foyle Punt Races
2-4pm - Canoe & Sea Kayak Trips

2pm - Moville Sports & Fun day (Bay Field) - Events include Palm Reading by Jim Quin, lucky dip, bonny baby competition, Underage five-a-side football, penalty shoot, bouncy castle, duck drop, perfect pass, nappy hanging, pole fighting, slippery slope, horse-shoe throwing, tug-o-war, face painting, tea hut, races, bonny baby, welly throwing and much, much more.
3pm - Skiff Racing

10pm-1am - Caiseal Mara - One For the Road - €10

So, you see, there's still quite a lot on to entertain both townspeople and visitors.
