More woe for Moville as Foyle Hotel floods

Foyle Hotel

It was hoped that the Foyle Hotel would be open by the summer season and they could put up a load of visitors who wanted to come to Moville.

However, any re-opening of the Foyle Hotel has been set back after it flooded when the pipes burst after the recent cold snap.

What is happening to Moville?

Punished

First it's fire (the waterfront) and then it's flood.

Are we being punished by plagues?

Can we expect a swarm of locusts to hit the town disrupting the St. Patrick's Day Parade?

Bad Luck

How do we get rid of this bad luck?

In the old days they would have made a sacrifice to the Gods.

That's probably taking it a bit far though.

Threadbare

The main square of the town is looking distinctly threadbare with the Town Clock shutting its doors at the start of the year.

It doesn't look like the upturn is coming any time soon to Moville.

Let's hope the pound keeps up its recent rise against the Euro to give Moville a little boost for the summer season.
