Maguires Pub

I thought I'd take a look into Maguires on Thursday night.

One of the 'hardships' of running a site like CraicOn is that you have to go out to the pubs and restaurants more than normal.

Good Crowd

Maguires gets a good crowd at the weekend.

It also gets a good crowd during the week.

So, what's the atmosphere like?

It's a pretty good atmosphere.

There's a lot of banter.

Good Natured

It's all good natured though.

It's largely a postive atmosphere.

There's a lot of jokes thrown about by a largely younger audience.

The pool table is a major centre point in the pub with a lot of people playing.

There was no football on the night I was there but the big football games are all shown on the big screen in Maguires.

Positive Atmosphere

It's definitely a positive and fun atmosphere on weekdays in Maguires in Moville.

It's pretty friendly too as most people said 'hello' when I walked - in even if I turned down most invitations to 'stick this on your site'.
