John Lennon

Phil McQuillan, or Phil Phoenix as his stage name is, may be coming to play in Moville at the BeatlesFest.

He plays in a duo in Dublin with Steve Carroll who contacted the BeatlesFest organisers about playing in Moville nest weekend.

Phil played the part of John Lennon in the film In His Life.

Top Show

When it came out Phil appeared on Jay Leno's Tonight Show, the biggest chat show in America.

They are a bit expensive for Moville but we are in negotiation at the moment with them to see if we can accommodate them.

Tony Bramwell

The fact that Tony Bramwell is coming is a major pull.

It's getting easier to attract acts from Dublin and Belfast etc. to Moville when we mention that Tony's coming too.

Normally by this time we've firmed up on the Programme of Events but it is fluid at the moment as people keep approaching us.

It's starting to look good this year.
