Moville Entertainment

For the benefit of the Grabbers film crew who are looking for some entertainment in Moville on Saturday here is what is on.

All Moville's pubs are within easy walking distance of each other as they are all either just on the Main street or just off it.

Most Movillians will go to a few pubs in a night to check out what is on and who is there.

Rosatos Champagne Party

This is the highlight of the night.

Rosatos was recently awarded the Sunday World Pub Spy Pub of the Year prize so they are going to have a celebration party tonight with free bubbly, food and music.

They have bought in 18 bottles of bubbly for the night and customers will be able to samply Rosatos famous pizza amongst other food.

The highly popular local musicians and singers Paul Bredin and Damian McGonigle will be playing.

There is expected to be a good crowd.

Town Clock

Some of the cast members, especially the girls have been asking if there are any discos in Moville, anywhere they can dance and let their hair down after a hard week.

The Town Clock on the main square on the Saturday night they have been told.

They have a late licence and will be open till 2:30am so they can dance the night away in there.

There is usually a good crowd anyway but the numbers will be boosted by the film crew tonight.

Rawdons

Rawdons in the Malin road is a quaint bar well liked by visitors to the town.

There is music there every Saturday night.

It's likely to be Paddy McLaughlin who is playing and is arguably the most accomplished musician in the town.

Paddy knows thousands of songs and will play what suits the audience.

Maguires

Maguires is bang smack in the middle of town and gets a good crowd on a Saturday night.

They have a lively DJ.

This is one for the mainly younger crowd although people of all ages go.

Corner Bar

The Corner is a snug and comfy bar at the bottom of the town.

Saturday night is its big night where they have live Country music.

Other Bars

If you want something a bit quieter and a chat with the locals and a good pint of Guinness then McGettigan's in the Malin Road, The Trawlerman in James Street or Susie's at the top of the town might suit.

If you want just a quiet drink with a few friends here to see you or other members of the cast and crew then the bar at Caiseal Mara Hotel might suit.

There is also the Bar-A-Cuda which usually has a younger crowd and sometimes a DJ.

We hope you enjoy yourself in town and everyone is looking forward to meeting you when you are not busy working.
