Grabbers
The Grabbers Film crew were back in the area yesterday.
They were about the town yesterday.
They have brought a lot of interest to the town in what is normally a quiet month.
Respectful
Many Movillians went down to see them film down by the pier and were very well behaved and respectful according to the Grabbers people.
Indeed they said on their Facebook website they said "We Salute You Moville" and their comments about both Moville and its people have been very positive.
The Grabbers film folk have even been taking part in the activities of the town with one of them taking part in the weekly Texas Holdem poker game in Rosatos.
There was a crowd of them at Rosatos Champagne party a couple of weekends ago and they enjoyed the music.
Interesting
I've spoken to a few interesting characters including the guy who is the Poteen maker in the film.
Another interesting one was one of the stunt guys who has been a stunt man in all the Harry Potter films, Gladiator and Pirates of the Caribbean.
They've brought a lot of colour and interest to our little town and probably at a time and month when it was most needed.
We'll be sad to see them all go.
Grabbers Tourists
Maybe their work will see a steady flow of Grabbers tourists to the town if the film is a success - which it is tipped to be.
It has an excellent storyline and a highly rated script.
I think a few of them will come back again.
Maybe we can have a Grabbers Reunion here in a few years time.
Convention
Maybe we can have a GrabbersFest like the Star Trek conventions.
Those that go are called Trekkies.
Will those that follow Grabbers be Grabbies - or just Grabbers?
