X Factor
I didn't go out till late on Friday night so I didn't see most of the acts in the Town Clock's X Factor.
Canadians on holiday in the town had been complaining that Moville had died a death in the 5 years since they were last here as they had been to most of the town's pubs and there was hardly anybody out.
They hadn't been to the Town Clock though.
They had grabbed the crowd.
Big Crowd
When I went in they had maybe 50-60 in there and that increased to 70-80 later on.
Even in the old, highly successful, days when Eddie and Margaret Harkin ran the place people didn't start going there till about 12:30am.
Tomorrow night they have the late night disco (at least I think that's when it starts).
It's almost a shame that they didn't do the X Factor on the Saturday as they could have got the crowd early and then kept them.
Grand Finals
However, it is nice to have a good Saturday and Friday in there.
Three people advanced to the grand finals last night but I didn't catch their names.
The losers, plus new contestants, can try again next week.
It seems the prize is that a film crew from the real X Factor will come and film the winners.
