DylanFest

The Mark Patterson Show on BBC Radio Foyle will have Moville's DylanFest on the Lough as its main theme today.

The show will last from 3pm to 5pm with the DylanFest pieces starting at about 3:20pm.

DylanFest organiser Gerry McLaughlin will talk about Dylan and the DylanFest alongside top Derry singer Eamon Friel.

There will also be songs by top Derry singers Paddy Nash and Junior Johnson amongst others.

Mason's Bar

This year the DylanFest on the Lough is no longer Stuck Inside of Moville as the pre-opening night, next Wednesday, is going to take place in Mason's Bar in Magazine Street in Derry, near Derry's Walls when three different acts will play.

First up will be local Derry band The Cannibals featuring Ryan O'Doherty.

Then Al Diesan and Pino Tocco, who arrive from Sardinia in Italy that day will appear followed by James O'Connor and Audrey Trainor up from Laois.

This is the All Along the Watchtowe night to be followed by the offical opening night in Moville on the Thursday called Come Gather Round People night.
