James and Audrey

James O'Connor and Audrey Trainor will be releasing a new single on April 23rd called Falling Up.

I've had a listen and its pretty good.

DylanFest 2007

James and Audrey played the first DyanFest in 2007 in McGettigan's and got a great reception.

Jamews is an excellent guitar player, singer and songwriter and Audrey is a classicially trained violinist.

According to some who have heard her play there wouldn't be many better fiddle players in Ireland.

DylanFest 2008

They also opened DylanFest 2008 in Rosatos on the Thursday night as well as playing other gigs.

Last year they were both on holiday at the time and couldn't make it although I bumped into James at the Dylan concert at the O2 in Dublin.

They are due to appear at the DylanFest again this year.

Potential Hit

According to manager John McFadden the new single stands a good chance of making the Irish singles chart.

So, they may be hit singers by the time they play the DylanFest on the Lough.

I'd better book them early.

Pre-Order

Said John "It's a great song and we are proud of it".
