Dublin win All-Ireland Final

Dublin

So, Dublin have won the Sam Maguire.

They are All-Ireland Champions.

They beat Kerry today by one point.

However, they were almost out in the semi final.

Donegal

Donegal had them by the throat for nearly 50 minutes.

They had led them 0-6 to 0-3 and had a chance just after the break to put the game away with a goal.

And Donegal deserved to be in the lead.

However, they ran out of both steam and ideas and allowed Dublin to creep back into it.

Even then when Dublin had a man sent off Donegal had a fressh opportunity but couldn't take it.

Nearly

It's a year of might-have-beens.

If only....

However, Donegal are an improving team and they now have more experience - and there's always next year.
