Claddagh

After the sensational news that Caiseal Mara was going to cut all pints, shorts etc. to just €3 each comes news of a new development.

I've had a look in at Caiseal Mara each day since the prices dropped.

Weekend

On the Friday night there was about a dozen people in - all young males who may be price sensitive.

However, on Saturday night it was different.

When I was there, there was about 25 people and they were of all ages.

There was a guy from Carn playing who was able to play to the mixed audience.

Sunday

However, when I went down on the Sunday there was only two othe rpeople besides myself.

What was the reason for that?

I'm told that the Claddagh have now cut their prices to €3 on a Sunday.

Any More?

I did see a crowd outside when I was on my way from Rosatos to Caiseal Mara so they must be doing well.

It remains to be seen if any other pub or restaurant is going to cut their prices to attract a crowd.
