Clodagh Warnock

Top traditional music artist Clodagh Warnock will be playing Moville's Tradfest which takes place from February 18th to 19th.

Clodagh will be playing on the Saturday night in Rosatos.

She is currently putting together a top team of Trad players including Jolene McLaughlin of the Henry Girls, accomplished accordionist Tom Byrne and TV star and fiddler Martin McGinley for Rosatos on the Saturday night.

Clodagh has played several times on TV and at many of the top trad venues and festivals.

Deanta

Indeed she played for some time with top trad band Deanta.

The band's members include Mary Dillon, Clodagh Warnock, Deirdre Havlin, Rosie Mulholland, Eoghan O'Brien and Kate O'Brien.

Clodagh plays bazouki and fiddle.

It's very good I think you'll agree.

There's one also they did called Dark Iniseoghain which mentions both Moville and Carndonagh and can be heard here

It's another good one.

Rose of Moville

In it is mentioned the Rose of Moville.

I wonder who that is.

Clodagh comes from South Derry originally but now lives in Moville.

She doesn't play in Moville much so the Tradfest will be a great opportunity to hear her and her colleagues play.
