Belgium's Top Dylan band booked for DylanFest on the Lough

Moville DylanFest on the Lough Booking

After a meeting with the pubs in the square CraicOn.com is in negotiation with Belgium's top Dylan band The New Fools to play in the main square of Friday evening.

Maguires, The Town Clock and the Bar-A-Cuda have agreed in principal to book the 6-piece band but it could depend on whether the new management at The Foyle agree to come in with them.

I've already spoken to The Foyle, but it was the new manager's first day in the job so he said he would have to think about it.

He is having the back room renovated so he wasn't sure if it would be available for the DylanFest.

To defray the costs The New Fools have agreed to play the Saturday night in the Bar-A-Cuda.

Sponsorship

CraicOn.com is also looking for sponsorship for the DylanFest on the Lough and if it is forthecoming will use it to cut the costs of those booking the bands in the Malin Road and the square.

It's pretty much a done deal with The New Fools and they are looking forward to coming to Moville.

Belgium's top Dylan Band are so keen to come to the DylanFest on the Lough that they will be playing for expenses only.

It's not cheap, though, to transport a six-piece band and their equipment from Belgium to Moville.

But I think it will be all worthwhile.
