Ruairi Cunnane

Ruairi Cunnane is coming up from Belfast to play the TradFest in Moville.

He hails originally from South Armagh.

Ruairi has played at Festivals all over Ireland and across Europe in such places as Germany, Oslo and the world-famous festival in Brittany.

Trad Scene

He is bringing another couple of musicians with him called Terry Conlon and Manuel McFarlane who are very experienced in the Trad scene.

They've all played in top Trad bands over the years.

But its not just Trad they will be playing.

They'll throw in the odd Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan song as well.

Great Stories

And not only that, Terry has a whole load of stories that he intends to tell too.

Ruairi plays the guitar, Terry plays the Accordion and Manuel plays the Flute.

Ruairi has made clear that they will be very pleased if other musicians come along and play with them too.

Friday and Saturday

They will be playing on both the Friday night and the Saturday night in the Bar-A-Cuda.

They should be well worth seeing and hearing.

Double Objective

Terry has a double objective about playing the TradFest in Moville.

Said Terry "I'm a huge Bob Dylan fan and Moville is the shrine to Bob Dylan music in Ireland. I've got over 40 Dylan albums including bootlegs and I'm hoping that, if they like me in Moville, they might invite me back to play the DylanFest in early July. That would be something".
