Bar-A-Cuda Strippers

There's been a lot of talk about it with front page articles and photos in the Derry Journal and Inish Times.

Now the big day has arrived.

The strippers are on at the Bar-A-Cuda tonight at 10pm with a fee of €10 at the door.

No Market

Retired teacher Mary Keogh has blasted the show in the Derry Journal saying that there is no market for this kind of thing in Moville.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating so we'll see if there is a crowd there tonight.

Male and Female

There are two male strippers calling themselves The Wild Boys and two female strippers called the Pole Cats.

It's not known whether they are on at the same time or on separately.

Three P's

Mary Keogh had told the Journal that Moville was always known for the three P's - Pride, Poverty and Pianos.

Local wit and raconteur Paddy McCartney says that Moville will soon be known by the new three P's - Peep Shows, Pimps and Prostitutes.

Christmas Strippers

It seems that those who buy tickets tonight will get in free for the next one in 5 or 6 weeks time - which seems to be getting close to Christmas.

Can you imagine the furore if it took place in Christmas week - and that while some people were visiting the crib at the local churches other people were visiting a strip show in the Bar-A-Cuda.

This story has further to run I fear.
