Bar-A-Cuda

The Bar-A-Cuda is to be leased out soon to a guy from Greencastle called McGonigle, I hear.

I'll check that out.

Mike Murphy had put it up for sale in order to buy a business in the dairy industry down the country.

However, there was no quick sale so he has decided to lease it out.

Pulled Out

The Bar-A-Cuda had been in both the DylanFest and BeatlesFest last year but had pulled out this year, along with McGettigans.

However, The Waterfront, Caiseal Mara and Foyle Hotel were added to the list from last year.

Mike at the Bar-A-Cuda was responsible for bringing the only Irishman to play rock's most famous festival, Woodstock, across to Moville during the 2007 BeatlesFest, i.e. Henry McCullough.

Henry played with Paul McCartney's band Wings which he set up after he quit The Beatles.

Rollercoaster

It's been a rollercoaster ride since Mike Murphy and Judy Hannon took over the ownership of the pub, which used to be called The Eggman, and Terry's before that.

We wish them success in the future.
